“Come Out of Her, My People”
The Loud Cry of Revelation 18 is not a new message. It is the same separation call of 1843–1844, now swelled to a final thunder. Heaven used the same pattern before: the Midnight Cry joined the Second Angel. At the end, the Loud Cry joins the Third Angel.
| Era | Primary Message | Amplifying Cry | Result | Reference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1843–1844 | Second Angel (Rev. 14:8) “Babylon is fallen, is fallen” | Midnight Cry (Matt. 25:6) “Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out” | God’s people called OUT of fallen Protestant churches into the Advent movement | Matt. 25:6 |
| Final Days | Third Angel (Rev. 14:9–12) “If any man worship the beast…” | Loud Cry (Rev. 18:1–4) “Come out of her, my people” | Honest souls called OUT of Babylon’s corruption into final readiness for the Bridegroom | Rev. 18:4 |
Announces the moral fall of Babylon — the Protestant churches that rejected the first angel’s judgment-hour message in 1843–1844.
Joins the Second Angel with power, awakening the waiting virgins and calling them to go out and meet the Bridegroom before the door closes.
Joins the Third Angel at the end with greater light and power, warning honest souls still inside corrupt systems to come out before the plagues fall.
“The message of the fall of Babylon, as given by the second angel, is repeated, with the additional mention of the corruptions which have been entering the churches since 1844. The work of this angel comes in at the right time to join in the last great work of the third angel’s message as it swells to a loud cry.”
— Ellen G. White, Early Writings, p. 277.1“This message seemed to be an addition to the third message, joining it as the midnight cry joined the second angel’s message in 1844… proclaiming the fall of Babylon and calling upon God’s people to come out of her.”
— Ellen G. White, Early Writings, p. 277.2“When the messages of the three angels come prominently before the world again just before the second advent of Christ, the angel of Revelation 18:1 joins in the proclamation of the second angel in the message that ‘Babylon is fallen.’ ‘Come out of her, my people.’”
— Ellen G. White, Early Writings, Appendix, p. 304.1“The image to the beast represents ANOTHER religious body clothed with similar powers.”
— Ellen G. White, The Story of Redemption, p. 381:2; The Spirit of Prophecy, Vol. 4, p. 277.2Babylon = “religious bodies that were once pure and have become corrupt.”
— Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 382.3The Third Angel’s Message is a warning not to backslide into the very errors the pioneers cast off during the Second Angel’s Cry in 1843–1844. The Loud Cry exposes the corruptions that have entered the churches since October 22, 1844.
The early Advent movement separated from errors the Protestant Reformation had failed to fully leave behind. James White named them plainly:
“The greatest fault we can find in the Reformation is, the Reformers stopped reforming. Had they gone on, and onward, till they had left the last vestige of Papacy behind — such as natural immortality, sprinkling, the trinity, and Sunday-keeping — the church would now be free from her unscriptural errors.”
— James White, Review & Herald, February 7, 1856, Vol. 7, No. 19, p. 148Backsliding is not advancement. It is not “maturity.” It is not “institutional strength.” It is the slow, polished, respectable return to what God once called a people to leave. What Heaven exposed, many later excused. What the protest cast off, later generations took back up.
“They had a bright light set up behind them at the first end of the path, which an angel told me was the Midnight Cry… Others rashly denied the light behind them… The light behind them went out, leaving their feet in perfect darkness.”
— Ellen G. White, Spiritual Gifts, Vol. 2, p. 30.2What began as Laodicean drift in 1845 was crowned on April 15, 1904, in Washington, District of Columbia: the formation of a new corporate church-state entity bearing the historic Adventist name but departing from the pioneer foundations.
“Since the time of the Minneapolis meeting [1888], I have seen the state of the Laodicean church as never before… Like the Jews, many have closed their eyes lest they should see.”
— Ellen G. White, Review and Herald, August 26, 1890“The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization… A new organization would be established… Books of a new order would be written… The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded… Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement.”
— Ellen G. White, Selected Messages, Book 1, p. 204 (1SM 204)
A 501(c)(3) designation is issued by the federal government. It places a religious organization under the authority, rules, and oversight of civil power — the very definition of the union of church and state that the Revelation 13 beast represents.
This corporate rebellion bears a striking resemblance to Korah, Dathan, and Abiram in Numbers 16 — men who challenged Heaven’s order while pretending to honor it. In many respects, Elder James White stood to the Advent movement as Moses stood to Israel: a leading laborer, a protester, a standard-bearer. Yet after the pioneer era, rebellious leadership steered many into Laodicean softness, policy, machinery, and compromise.

When tithes and offerings are placed into stocks, bonds, insurance pools, and corporate portfolios, those sacred funds become participants in everything those corporations do — including profiting from labor on God’s holy Sabbath day.
The record shows assets of $10,000,000 – $49,999,999+ held by this registered corporate entity. This is not the scattered freewill offering of a little flock. This is a multi-million dollar system handling sacred funds inside worldly markets — the tithes and offerings of faithful people placed into the very Babylon they are called to come out of.
Corporate insurance documents showing the General Conference’s participation in institutional financial systems including municipal insurance underwriting — the kind of financial entanglement EGW warned against.
Investment portfolio documents showing sacred tithe funds placed into stocks, bonds, and corporate portfolios — the “millions” that represent departure from the principle of free-will offering in Spirit-led ministry.
When tithes and offerings enter corporate systems, and those corporations operate on the Sabbath, or profit from labor on God’s holy day — the profit is shared, and so is the responsibility. Participation is not erased by distance. What is supported is shared. This is precisely why God says “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues” (Rev. 18:4).
Heaven sent the warning decades before the structure was formed. The description came first. The development followed. The condition matched the warning.
“The enemy of souls has sought to bring in the supposition that a great reformation was to take place among Seventh-day Adventists, and that this reformation would consist in giving up the doctrines which stand as the pillars of our faith, and engaging in a process of reorganization… A new organization would be established… Books of a new order would be written… A system of intellectual philosophy would be introduced… The Sabbath of course, would be lightly regarded, as also the God who created it. Nothing would be allowed to stand in the way of the new movement.”
— Ellen G. White, Selected Messages, Book 1, p. 204
In 1867, Ellen White wrote: “The company now presented the appearance of a Catholic procession.”
The description was written 37 years before the structure appeared. The warning came first. The fulfillment followed.

April 15, 1904 — a new structure arose. A civil corporation bearing the Adventist name was formed in Washington, DC. It joined church and state exactly as the Papacy had done — not by force, but by design and choice.
Then in 1981 came the open confession: “There is another universal and truly Catholic organization, the Seventh-day Adventist Church.”

— Ellen G. White, The Great Controversy, p. 606Neal C. Wilson’s statement in the Review Herald, March 5, 1981 — the open confession that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is “universal and truly Catholic.” The original protest became the very thing it protested.

Visit 144000.com →Heaven’s message has not changed. The Loud Cry is not a polite suggestion to remain where truth has been buried under compromise. It is heaven’s final alarm to honest souls still inside corrupt and backslidden systems.
The Second Angel said: Babylon is fallen.
The Midnight Cry said: Go ye out to meet Him.
The Loud Cry says: Come out of her, My people.
Same warning. Same separation. Same preparation for the Bridegroom.
Come out. Stay out. Do not go back.
Christ said, “Remember Lot’s wife.” The fourth commandment says, “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.” One warning says: do not look back. The other says: do not forget what God made holy. The final crisis gathers around both memory and loyalty. Heaven calls a people to remember, to separate, to obey, and to be ready.
